Chad, my ever-pragmatic other half, looked at the same picture and burst out laughing. 'It looks like a storm door!' he said.
And there it was—the perfect illustration of how two people can look at the same thing and see something entirely different. Navigating these differences in taste can be a bit challenging when you're sharing a home, but it's also what makes the process so exciting and, well, human.
